Maackia amurensis Lectin (MAA/MAL I) – Biotinylated
Purified MAL I is biotinylated and is an ideal reagent for examining glycoconjugates. Biotin is very small (244 Da) and it’s covalent attachment to lectins does not interfere with its function. This product comes in a stabilized liquid form.Biotinylated lectin has an appropriate amount of biotins bound to provide optimum staining characteristics when using ’s Streptavidin-HRP conjugate (SKU: 40180002). Streptavidin-HRP conjugate is a highly specific peroxidase-conjugate for biotin-binding that provides a high signal amplification with excellent storage stability. The HRP-conjugated streptavidin allows more sensitive detection in ELISA and Western-blotting applications. It is also suitable for use with chemiluminescent, chemifluorescent or colorimetric substrates.
