| Human Metapneumovirus is an enveloped virus that contains a negative-sense single-stranded RNA. hMPV 16 Type A1 (Strain: IA10-2003) is propagated in the LLC-mk2 cell line. Heat inactivated culture fluids are sold in 1.0 mL aliquots, and shipped on dry ice. Each lot of viral culture fluid is assayed for its Tissue Culture Infective Dose (TCID50) before being heat inactivated.
