Human Prostaglandin F2 alpha ELISA Kit is a competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Prostaglandin F2 alpha in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids.
Applications:Competitive ELISA, Reactivity:Human, Product range:7.813-500 pg/ml, Sensitivity:4.688 pg/ml, Storage:Store at +4?C. Do not use past expiration date!, Target:Prostaglandin F2 alpha, Sample type:Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids, Principle assay:Human Prostaglandin F2 alpha ELISA Kit (A75716) employs the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique for the quantitative measurement of human Prostaglandin F2 alpha in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate has been pre-coated with Prostaglandin F2 alpha antigen. During the incubation, Prostaglandin F2 alpha present in the samples or standards competes with the fixed amount of immobilized Prostaglandin F2 alpha for binding sites on the Biotinylated Anti-Prostaglandin F2 alpha Antibody. The more Prostaglandin F2 alpha present in a sample or standard, the less Biotinylated Anti-Prostaglandin F2 alpha Antibody that binds to the plate. Following incubation, unbound Biotinylated Anti-Prostaglandin F2 alpha Antibody is removed by washing, and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added to the wells and the microtiter plate is incubated. Following incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is then used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction by catalysis to produce a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is inversely proportional to the amount of Prostaglandin F2 alpha present in each sample or standard. The concentration of Prostaglandin F2 alpha can then be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve, Assay type:Competitive (quantitative), Detection type:Colorimetric, Platform:Pre-coated Microplate (12 x 8 well strips), Assay time:4h 30m
+25° C.
