HIV-1 (IIIB Strain) gp160 Purified Native Glycoprotein

Category: Tag:

Oligomeric, fully-glycosylated, soluble native gp160 glycoprotein of Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 (IIIB Strain). The protein is probably truncated near the transmembrane domain and runs as a 140kD protein in SDS-PAGE. This viral protein was isolated from culture medium of HIV-1 infected H9 cells, lysed with 0.5% Triton X-100, and purified by immunoaffinity chromatography using mouse monoclonal antibody to HIV-1 gp41.
